Star System

Star System is a most common unit of administration and logistics. Star systems are interconnected by Starlanes, contain a star, optionally some planets, fleets and various space structure. A star system can be controlled by an Empire.

Star Type

G-Type

Similar to the former Sol, feature low radiation and often contain life-friendly planets.

Red Giant

High luminosity and radiation. Their systems are rich in rare elements, facilitating industry but making life support difficult.

Neutron

Highly massive, unstable and emit a lot of radiation, making the system very unfriendly even for traversal. However, natural science benefits greatly from these locations.

White Dwarf

These stars benefit logistics and trade. Their size is enough to make the breach possible, but relatively low gravity allows for cheap movement through the system between two breach points. Intense radiation, however, makes long-term stay in these systems difficult.
